A Bit About Me
This I know to be true, if there’s one constant in life it is change. Sometimes life transitions can create challenges that negatively impact our well-being, the relationships we hold, and our view of the world. Reaching out for support when you need it is a sign of self-awareness – a marker of hope that maybe things can feel different. My hope for the people I work with is that therapy can provide a space where we can talk openly about the challenges you’ve been experiencing and work towards change that brings greater enjoyment in relationships and life in general.
For the last 10 years I have engaged in therapeutic work at community organizations and am now excited to expand my practice to offer private therapy. My education and experience makes me uniquely equipped to work with individuals, couples, and families. My approach is focused on emotion and attachment, getting to the root of the issues you are struggling with to create lasting change. Additionally, I have training in Brainspotting that works with the sub-cortical brain to offer an approach to healing in addition to talk therapy. I am a big believer in the innate wisdom of the body and its connection to mind and spirit.
Greater ease and wellness in life is not just about decreasing suffering, but also requires increasing space and allowing for moments of fulfillment, meaning, and joy. This is a journey well worth embarking on together.
