A Bit About Me
Cheryl has years of experience working with people of all ages and abilities and in all stages of life. She uses a systemic and integrative approach, utilizing evidence based practices to facilitate healing and reach clients goals.
With expertise in simple and complex trauma, attachment, recovery and life challenges, she is also culturally, spiritually and gender informed and welcomes clients with various philosophies and approaches to life.
Cheryl resides in rural Mb and works in many Northern communities. She honors the TRC and the traditions of Canada's First Nations as well as the unique beauty of northern and rural life.
In addition to therapy, she teaches, trains and includes in her practice: MBSR/ Mindfulness skills, EFT, Auricular Acupuncture, Palliative and Bereavement Care, Circle of Security, Motivational Interviewing, Recovery, Reiki, Horticultural Therapy, Trauma informed care, Compassionate Engagement and more.
